Zeman Homes Acquires Seabird Island

CHICAGO, IL (May 2, 2025) – Zeman Homes, one of the nation’s largest private owners and operators of manufactured home communities, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Seabird Island, a premier 55+ active lifestyle community located in Port Orange, Florida. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Situated on a private island just one mile from Daytona Beach, Seabird Island features 105 homesites with a variety of manufactured housing options, many offering picturesque waterfront views. The community boasts an array of amenities designed to support an active and social lifestyle, including shuffleboard courts, a fishing dock, billiards room, RV and boat storage, and a vibrant clubhouse that hosts regular events and activities.
Zeman Homes plans no major changes to the community in the near term, aside from a few staffing additions. The company’s focus is to preserve the unique charm and natural beauty that drew them to Seabird Island in the first place.
