Forest Hills Village Donates Home to the Widmer Family
(Loves Park, IL---October 15, 2015) --- Zeman Homes is pleased to announce that their community, Forest Hills Village, has partnered with several local companies to assist a family in need. Forest Hills Village staff members were speaking to Randall and Maureen Widmer about available homes when they learned of Maureen’s brave struggle with cancer. After being moved by the family’s story, Forest Hills Village and Zeman Homes decided to donate a home to the couple.
Assisting Zeman Homes with their donation is Rockford Health System, Randall’s employer, Dan Erickson, a local contractor who is upgrading the floors and carpet in the home, and Conception Zepeda, a painting company redoing the interior of the home for the Widmers.
The local community donors and Zeman Homes employees met the Widmer family at Forest Hills Village October 13, 2015 at 11:00am to present the home to the family.
“It was very exciting and emotional to see the Widmers receive their new home,” said Zeman Homes CEO, Dee Pizer. “We wish Randall, Maureen and their two dogs many happy memories in this new chapter of their lives at Forest Hills Village.”
